Should People that Watch Professional Wrestling be Allowed to Vote?

I guess our candidates hope so:

McCainiacs ... I peed a little when he said that.

No doubt, the people to whom this promo appeals believe the war in Iraq can easily be won if Britain would just distract the ref long enough for us to smack the insurgents with a chair to the head.

I don't vote anymore. I use to be a staunch supporter of the republic for which we are. I believe that our technology has progressed to the point where I don't believe we need a House of Reps. I believe that instead of a house of reps we have set up kiosks, and let every able citizen that can vote, vote on resolutions, and veto bills, and so on an so forth themeselves. I feel put the power back to the people's hands, and not the corruption that has poisoned the well that is our government.

I feel voting for a president now is like playing russian roulette with an automatic, no matter how or when you pull the trigger there's a bullet coming.

I believe in giving the people more of a voice, because, as you said, technology could really make that a lot easier. But there does need to be a system to protect the people from themselves. That's always open to become corrupt, but there just has to be.

This is the most surreal shit I've ever seen. I can't believe these are our presidential candidates. McCainiacs. Jesus.

I have nothing against pro wrestling. But I cannot in good conscience vote for anybody who appeared on the WWE. At some point we have to say, enough. Let's just skip all the de-volution and elect "Stone Cold" Steve Austin president for life.

Excellent idea, Ratherto.

We'd be attacking Iran in no time. I imagine he'd call the campaign "Shock and Aw Hell Yeah!"

"...and that's the bottom line 'cause Stone Cold said so!"
